Internal Hackathon for SIH 2025

The institute in association with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, and the Government of India, conducted the Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 at the IMRDA Auditorium on Friday, 26th September 2025. Smart India Hackathon is a flagship nationwide initiative aimed at engaging students in solving real-world issues put forth by government ministries, departments, industries, and NGOs.

With over 40 participating students, the event served as a vibrant platform for young innovators to present solutions and ideas aimed at being selected for the National Level SIH 2025 competition.

A distinguished panel of jury members evaluated the projects:

  • Mr. Hanmant Sapkal — Founder, MPACR Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Sangli (IMRDA Alumnus)
  • Mr. Amey Gat — Principal Threat Researcher, Fortinet (IMRDA Alumnus)
  • Dr. S. R. Kumbhar — Principal, Chintamanrao College of Commerce, Sangli

To mark their appreciation, the Director, Dr. Pallavi Jamsandekar; Head of Department (Computer Application), Dr. Rajendra Pujari; Senior Faculty Member, Dr. Pratap Desai; and Event Coordinator, Dr. B. D. Patil, felicitated the jury members and extended their best wishes to all participating teams.
