Placement Talk by STAR UNION DAI-ICHI
The institute organized a Placement Talk in collaboration with Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company on 18th
September 2025.
The session was conducted by Mr. Amit Ashok Tigadikar, Senior Regional Manager of Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance,
who guided students about the various career opportunities available in the life insurance sector.
Mr. Tigadikar highlighted the scope of part-time roles, internships, and full-time career pathways, explaining how
students can benefit from a flexible schedule while gaining industry exposure. He emphasized the development of key
professional skills such as communication, sales, and customer relations, along with the opportunity to earn while
learning.
He also elaborated on the long-term career advancement prospects at Star Union Dai-ichi, a trusted brand and a joint
venture of Bank of India, Union Bank of India, and Dai-ichi Life of Japan.
The talk received an enthusiastic response with large student participation, making it a valuable step in connecting
students with real-world professional opportunities.
