The institute organized “The Freshtival Raas – Freshers & Garba” and “IMRDA Mr. & Miss Fresher 2026” on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Jijai Multipurpose Hall, Sangalwadi, Sangli. The event was organized by the Management Club to welcome first-year students of MBA, MCA, BBA, and BCA programmes.

The programme provided an exciting platform for students to showcase their talent, confidence, creativity, and personality while interacting with their peers and building new friendships.

The Mr & Miss Fresher competition featured five rounds: Walk with Confidence, Talent Ka Tadka, Rapid Fire, The Surprise Challenge, and Intelligence Meets Personality. Each round assessed participants on stage presence, talent, knowledge, spontaneity, and overall personality.

The celebration also featured traditional Garba, colourful attire, music, and cultural activities, creating a festive atmosphere and encouraging students to participate enthusiastically. The event aimed to promote teamwork, self-expression, cultural appreciation, and a sense of belonging among the newly admitted students.

Prize Distribution and Felicitation Ceremony

The programme featured the distribution of prizes to winners in various categories of the Mr. & Miss Fresher competition, including Mr. & Miss Fresher, Best Dance, and Best Costume. The winners were recognized for their talent, confidence, creativity, and performance.

The following students were recognized in the respective categories:

• Best Costume: Rajashri Pivate (BBA III) and Prathamesh Bahulekar (BBA III).
• Best Dance: Manali Katbara (BCA III) and Rehan Hashmi (MBA I).
• Mr. Fresher: Harshwardhan Kondekar (MCA I).
• Ms. Fresher: Sonal Gosavi (MCA I).

Additionally, the winners of various competitions organized during the Ganesh Festival 2026 were felicitated and awarded prizes in recognition of their enthusiasm, creativity, and active participation in the festival activities.
