Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has been participating in Zonal and National level Inter University Youth festivals organized by AIU (Association Indian Universities under Ministry of Culture Govt of India) of for last 16 years. We are winning many prizes at these both Zonal and National levels.
From the year 2019 International started and our team has been invited to participate in all the three international youth festivals organized by AIU till now. All these three international festivals were organized in India.
From last year AIU has decided that the deserving universities from Indian should get a chance to participate in International Festivals abroad.
This year Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) School of Performing Arts was invitedo perform folk danced, by Ministry of Culture Govt of Russia through AIU to participate and perform in The Folk Arts Festival at Bladimir, Russia from 6th September to 12th September 2025.
Our university represented India in this festival in Russia. Other than us seven other countries from Europe also participated and performed.
Our team consisted of 10 students and two faculty members (Prof. Sharangdhar Sathe & Dr. Devika Borthakur). Our students were mix of students from Maharashtra and Assam. We performed four types of Folk Dances. Lavani & Gondhal from Maharashtra state and Bihu & Bortaal from Assam.
Our performances were appreciated at all the places where we performed in Vladimir Region.
