Dr. Devika is Disciple of Ministry of Culture Ustad Bishmillah Khan Awardees Guru Naren Chandra Baruah, Sahitya Akademi Awardee Guru Late Dr Keshavananda Dev Goswami and SNA Awaradee Guru Dr Sucheta Chapekar.

  • Completed her Ph.D. from Department of Assamese, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh Assam on the Topics “ A Comparative Study of Bharatnatyam and Sattriya”
  • Completed her Masters in Dance from Lalit Kala Kendra, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
  • Written Book on Sattriya Dance Published by Bharati Vidyapeeth University.
  • PHD Guide DANCE at BVDU School of Performing Arts.

  • Performed Sattriya At Various Prestigious Platforms of Sangeet Natak Akademi and ICCR etc.
  • Sattriya Choreography presented on ‘Geet Ramayan’ organized by ICCR, New Delhi.
