- Senior disciple of Guru Pandita Shama Bhate.
- Completed her Bachelors in Dance (Kathak) from Lalit Kala Kendra, Savitribai Phule, Pune University and Topped the degree - Masters in Dance (Kathak) from BVDU School of Performing Arts.
- Received Pandit Vishnu Digamber Paluskar Award.
- She is working for last 30 years as a Choreographer, Teacher and Performer, and creative director at – Mudra Kathak Nrityalaya.
- Working as a treasurer for the trust Shastriya Nritya Sanvardhan Sanstha created and run by Pune based dancers, for the promotion of all the classical dance styles.
- Choreographed various theme basec choreographies. A few amongst them are -
- ‘Maunam sarwarth Sadhanam’ - exploring the silence through Kathak Dance style
- ‘Oorja’- with Bhartanatyam Exponent Arundhati Patwardhan as a blend of two distict dance styles.
- ‘Karna- Tejman Putra’ – A solo choreography based on the famous male character from Mahabharata.
- ‘Aa rahi Ravi Ki Sawari’ – A choreography based on a poem by Harivansh Rai Bachchan with Bharatanatyam and Odissi dance styles
- ‘Shadow’ – a presentation based on an English Poem in Duet Format with Jui Ketkar exploring the relation of a mother and daughter.
- Performed various choreographies and classical dance recitals at Mumbai, Kota, Rajkot, Ahmadnagar, Satara, etc.
