SASLP is committed to training students with a scientific mind and a clinical soul. The students are trained in both the theoretical as well as clinical aspects, using state-of-the-art facilities by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals. Clinical services include amenities for early identification as well as comprehensive assessment and management of persons with speech, language, swallowing, hearing, and/or balance problems for all age groups. Taking technological advances in pursuit, Telerehabilitation services are provided for persons who cannot avail of the facility at our center. Our extension activities include clinical services at special schools in the city as well as outreach programs in and outside Maharashtra in collaboration with other institutes/hospitals/NGOs.

In addition to providing training and clinical services, the faculty members are also encouraged in carrying out research and development activities. The dedication of faculty members to research is reflected in the number of tests and associated material developed at SASLP as well as publications in National/International journals. Bharati Vidyapeeth (DU) being a Multi-Faculty University allows collaboration with other faculties such as engineering, dental, biotechnology, physiotherapy, and environmental sciences in addition to the medical faculty, for academic and research activities.

The School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology has progressed in leaps and bounds with the efforts of the dedicated staff and encouragement from stakeholders and we aspire to continue growing exponentially. Our alumni who are excelling in the field in India and abroad; our children and adults rehabilitated at our centre are our testimonies. Our Founder Hon Dr. Patangrao Kadam is our inspiration and all the authorities of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Bharati Vidyapeeth (DU) are our pillars of strength.
