BVIMR IEEE Student Branch proudly celebrated IEEE Foundation Day on 16th February 2026, commemorating the establishment of IEEE on 16 February 1963 under the theme “Advancing Technology for Humanity.” The occasion was marked with an engaging and interactive event titled IEEE Tech Trivia, designed to foster curiosity and awareness about technology among students. The quiz comprised three dynamic rounds covering core computer science fundamentals, logo identification of leading tech companies and platforms, and questions based on emerging technologies and recent tech headlines. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from IEEE members and other students, reflecting the growing interest in technical exploration. Instead of a competitive ranking system, participants were rewarded with IEEE merchandise for answering questions accurately and swiftly, creating an encouraging learning environment. The event was graced by Dr. Mansi Agnihotri and Ms. Gargi Mukharjee, whose presence added value to the celebration. The program successfully strengthened students’ engagement with technology and upheld the spirit of innovation and collaboration within the institution.
