IEEE GOLDEN JUBLIEE CELEBRATION - WebCraft Workshop and FrameTheChange Competition
The WebCraft & FrameTheChange event was successfully organized by the BVIMR IEEE Student Branch in collaboration with the BVIMR IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group on 11th May 2026 at the Ground Floor Lab, BVIMR, New Delhi, as part of the IEEE Delhi Section Golden Jubilee celebrations. The event aimed to commemorate the IEEE Delhi Section's 50 years of excellence in advancing technology while fostering innovation, creativity, and technical learning among students.

The event comprised two key segments. The first,WebCraft, was an AI-driven workshop that introduced participants to modern web development practices using cutting-edge tools such as v0.dev, Supabase, and the GitHub Student Developer Pack. Through live demonstrations and interactive discussions, participants gained practical exposure to AI-assisted development workflows and industry-relevant technologies.
The second segment, FrameTheChange, was a Women in Engineering (WIE) challenge that encouraged participants to design and develop women empowerment-themed landing pages within a stipulated time. The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, technical proficiency, and innovative thinking while addressing a socially significant theme.
The event concluded with the evaluation of submissions and the felicitation of the winners. Overall, the programme received an enthusiastic response from participants and successfully achieved its objectives by promoting technical excellence, encouraging collaborative learning, strengthening student engagement with IEEE and WIE initiatives, and inspiring participants to explore innovative solutions through emerging technologies.
