Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) is accredited with A+ grade (2017) by NAAC and has category-I university status by UGC.
Our master’s degree course in Sustainable Architecture, started in 2006, was a first of its kind program in India.
The intake of B.Arch increased to 80 in 2010.
The curriculum is constantly upgraded by taking feedback from the various stakeholders to meet the demand of the profession. The curriculum is student centric offering choice-based credits system and outcome-based education. Apart from classroom teaching, students are provided with a conducive environment where they learn from peers, professionals and through participation in various competitions, attending seminars and workshops in house and conducted jointly with different forums. The learning continues through site visits, study tours and studios conducted outdoors. One such activity is “Learning Out Of The Box (LOOTB).”
Our students have won numerous competitions & trophies and presented papers in conferences at state and national level.
BVDUCOA offers state of the art infrastructure, sports and cultural facilities and modern hostel facilities to facilitate the best learning environment, aids, and technology for the students. Few of these designs have won energy conservation awards by the state government. They have also won the 1st Prize in S.B.T.C. Design Competition, organized by USAID, IIEC (International Institute for Energy Conservation) & PCMC.
Another prestigious award won is the IGBC 6th green championship award under the category of 'Institute encouraging IGBC Accredited Professionals'.
