CITKCS (Centre for Indian Traditional Knowledge and Cultural Studies)
We are blessed with the extremely rich and ancient cultural threads those are region specific and still carrying some parallels among all diversities. It is believed that the strong future can be built on sound foundation of the past. Hence Rich Indian cultural remains in the form of tangible and intangible Heritage have to be recognized, studied, and conserved in authentic and scientific ways to maintain their significance and values for future. As the part of architectural fraternity, it’s a duty and job that one must be aware of cultural Heritage at different levels. These aspects effect on designing of spaces hence knowing the basics of heritage significance and values to create awareness and sensitivity towards them is very much needed.
