Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Architecture (BVDUCOA), Pune, proudly participated in the Annual NASA Convention (ANC) 2026 held at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. The convention, organized by the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA India), brought together more than 6,000 delegates from over 350 architecture colleges across the country. The event served as a vibrant platform for architectural learning, design competitions, workshops, exhibitions, cultural exchange, and student leadership.

A delegation of BVDUCOA students actively participated in the convention, representing the college in various academic and cultural activities while engaging with architecture students and professionals from across India.

The highlight of the convention was the remarkable achievement of Mukta Deshmukh, a Third-Year B.Arch student and the college's NASA Unit Secretary, who was elected as the Zonal President of NASA Zone III (Z360) . Her victory marks a historic milestone for BVDUCOA, as the institution has reclaimed this prestigious leadership position after nearly two decades.

Mukta secured a decisive win in the zonal elections against a candidate from ABCA Sangli. Her successful campaign was guided by Principal Prof. Dr. Kavita Murugkar and NASA Faculty Coordinator Ar. Shrikant Nikam , with valuable support from former NASA Unit Secretary Netal Tokase , current Unit Designee Riddhima Tekwani , and the enthusiastic BVDUCOA student delegation that campaigned alongside her throughout the convention.

Mukta's election is a testament to BVDUCOA's commitment to nurturing leadership, creativity, and professional excellence among its students. As the newly elected Zonal President of NASA Zone III, she will represent architecture students across the region, foster collaboration among institutions, and contribute to strengthening the student architectural community.
