Programme Overview

Diploma in Big Data (DBD) is a one-year diploma programme that focuses on introducing the students to the Big Data concept. Students will also learn how to manage data using various Big Data Tools and use their analysis to excel in the subject. The course is conducted through open and distance learning, and the students will be able to complete the course gradually within a maximum of three years.

Programme Outcomes

Introduction to Basic Concepts - Through the course, the students will be introduced to the basic concepts of Big Data and learn decision making by conducting analysis of the acquired data.
Usage of Tools - Students will learn how to use various Big Data tools such as SPARK, MAPREDUCE, Apache HADOOP and more.
Gain Experience - SThe course will also provide the students with an opportunity to interact with experts so that they are able to grow into professionals in the field.
