International Literacy day was celebrated in Bharti Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Institute of management & Research, New Delhi on September 8, 2021 in the light of completion of 75th India’s independence –Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav . This day is celebrated since 1967 around the world to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society. The day has been celebrated in form of organizing panel discussion on the theme “Digital Literacy for financial inclusion: Measures to eradicate poverty” followed by students competition on debate, poetry slam, extempore and essay 2 writing .There were participation of students from more than 50 institutions across the country.
