Programme Overview

Fellowship in Adult Infectious Diseases is a one-year post-MD/MS programme that will train the students to achieve mastery in the practice and science of infectious diseases that occur in adults. The programme will also provide comprehensive training so that the students are able to identify, contain and manage the various infectious diseases.

Programme Outcomes

Knowledge of Concepts - Students will study the origins, identification, symptoms and more of various adult infectious diseases.
Building of Skills - The fellowship will help the students to develop diagnostic and management skills that are required by an Infectious Disease specialist.
Research - The students will participate in patient-oriented research projects and learn to investigate the pathogenesis of infectious diseases in laboratory or research projects.
