Programme Overview

Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery is a one-year post-MD/MS programme that will provide academic, research and clinical training in Minimal Access Surgery. Through the programme, the students will learn more about the applications of minimally invasive surgery, including bariatric surgery, surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hernia surgery, and solid organ surgery.

Programme Outcomes

In-depth Knowledge - The students will dive deeper into the knowledge, principles and methods of minimally invasive operations.
Clinical Training - During the programme, the students will undergo clinical training to become more experienced in minimally invasive surgeries and patient care.
Research - The students will also have opportunities to participate in research projects to stay updated with the modern developments in the field.
