Programme Overview

Short Term Fellowship in Medical Retina is a three-month programme offered to MD/MS graduates to impart training in the diagnosis and management of Vitreo-Retinal diseases. Through this programme, the students will work with experts and gain the opportunity to diagnose retinal diseases, manage patients in clinical settings and perform treatment procedures.

Programme Outcomes

Learning of Concepts - The programme will provide basic knowledge about the different types of retinal diseases and the various treatment procedures.
Training - The students will be trained to handle various diagnostic equipment and use procedures such as retinal lasers, photodynamic therapy (PDT), cryotherapy and more.
Mentorship - Students will also be able to experience mentorship by recognized experts to train them to become competent specialists.
