About Department

  • HMM subject is included from I BHMS to IV BHMS.
  • Post-graduation 3 years course in HMM subject and Ph.D. in HMM subject are conducted by the HMM department.
  • The syllabus has been designed with the objective of delivering to the candidate the entire experience of basic & applied aspects of Homoeopathic Materia Medica.
  • It includes the basic philosophical background and conceptual framework necessary to understand the different approaches and their clinical applications in the exploration of Materia Medica at academic, clinical & research level.

We are committed to empowering students with the knowledge of Materia Medica and helping them in acquiring the skills to become a Good Homeopathic physician and researcher.

Mission & Objective

  • Students should have high degree of proficiency both in theoretical and practical aspects of Materia Medica backed by scientific knowledge & Philosophy.
  • Students should have the confidence to assess and manage the patients who are sick and in cases of paucity of symptoms, ability to overcome it by the knowledge of Materia Medica.

    Also through topics prepared and presented by students and seminars conducted under guidance of departmental faculty

  • The “beyond syllabus scholarly activities” of the department are :

    Developing communication & counselling skills, through lectures by experts and implementing the same in OPD’s.

    Developing public speaking skills through regular presentations by students in classroom seminars and case presentations during clinical sessions.

    Medical health checkups.
