Adapted Indian edition of the educational material ‘Cashew’ – inclusive learning material for Class 9 and Class 10 in English, Hindi and Marathi published by the Institute of Environment Education and Research, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University, Pune with support from Engagement Global. The original edition conceptualized and written by Katarina Roncevic and Dr. Thomas Hoffman was published by Engagement Global, Germany as a product of the 𝐄𝐒𝐃 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐭 (a collaboration of ESD practitioners and researchers from Germany, India, South Africa and Mexico). The book is not a resource about cashew but a resource for learning through cashew – botany, history, politics, cultivation, world trade, fair trade and climate.
The publication ' Teaching the Sustainable Development Goals' in English and Hindi published by the Institute of Environment Education and Research, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University, Pune with support from Engagement Global. It builds on the original publication by members of the 𝐄𝐒𝐃 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐭 with several Indian examples making it a wonderful resource for educators teaching the Goals at all levels. Each SDG chapter in this book opens with a note that explores the nature of the challenge and its criticality in achieving sustainable development. Seventeen such relevant and meaningful efforts along with six new Indian ones are offered as 'Stories of Change' to illustrate how every effort matters and that there is something to learn from it. These stories have been taken from the four ESD Expert Net member countries: Germany, India, Mexico and South Africa.
