Hotel Management students should essentially have some practical industrial training before they step into the industry as professionals. To make the students professionally trained, IHMCT offers a 16-week industrial training during the programme.

IHMCT also has a Training and Placement Cell, which uses its well-maintained relationships with the industry to help the students obtain opportunities to train with reputed hotels. The specially created Student Training and Placement Cell is also active in organizing such opportunities for the students.
