With expert faculties and well equipped facilities in the department, best training can be given for upbringing of undergraduate and post graduate students for serving the society afterwards. Department has arranged many camps in and around city of Pune for the women for - imparting knowledge regarding women's health management.
Best infrastructure is also available for proper care of the women. Many research papers are published in national and international journals by the staff members. Hands on research projects are going on with scientists working in IRSHA. With help of simulation lab it is easy to train post graduate students for different surgical techniques and under graduate students are also benefited by visual impression with mannequins regarding the management of high risk cases.
In this Covid-19 pandemic staff members and resident doctors worked hard in managing pregnancy and labour of covid positive women. Not only this but academic activities for postgraduate and undergraduate students were conducted online. We believe that challenges are what makes life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. We are thankful for every new challenge which will build our strength and character.
