Programme Overview

M.D. (Biochemistry) is a three-year post-graduation programme through which the students will learn more about the application of chemistry to the study of biological processes at the molecular and cellular level. Throughout the programme, the students will various subjects related to the structure, composition, and chemical reactions of substances that occur in living systems.

Programme Outcomes

Knowledge Acquisition – The programme will indulge the students in the theoretical knowledge that is required for them to clearly explain the concepts and principles of Biochemistry and cell biology.
Training – Students will be trained well so that, in the future, they will be able to set up or manage a Biochemistry diagnostic laboratory and provide consultation services.
Research –Through the programme, the students will be able to build their research skills so that they become more experienced and knowledgeable about the field.
