Programme Overview

M.D. (Emergency Medicine) is a three-year postgraduate programme that focuses on imparting knowledge and skills required for cases where quick medication and recovery are required. Students will be trained to prevent, diagnose and manage urgent illness and injury of all age group patients. The programme curriculum will also include general medicine, surgery and surgical sub-specialities.

Programme Outcomes

Acquisition of Knowledge- Through the programme, the students will be able to acquire knowledge of the emergency aspects of medical and surgical speciality.
Training and Building Skills – Students will be trained to use various diagnostic tests and have competent skills to save emergency patients.
Research –During the programme, the students will be made familiar with the fundamentals of research methodology.
