Programme Overview

M.D. (Psychiatry) is a three-year postgraduate programme that deals with mental health and emotional/behavioural disorders. Through M.D. (Psychiatry), the students will be able to learn more about the major psychiatric syndromes and learn the diagnostic and treatment methods. The programme will also dive deeper into the method of counselling and medication, which is used to treat patients.

Understanding of Mental Health - Through the programme, the students will be able to understand the various aspects of mental health and its relevance.
Treatment Methods - Students will be able to learn and institute appropriate treatment procedures for the patients.
