Programme Overview

The MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge is a 3-year postgraduate degree programme where the students are taught to acquire skills in the field of clinical laboratory, communication as well as develop an attitude and have the ability to undertake research.

Programme Outcomes

Knowledge Acquired - During the course the students learn how to diagnose and plan treatment for patients who require prosthodontic therapy like tooth and tooth surface restorations.
Communication - The students are required to effectively communicate to the patients the principles of Prosthodontics, guide as well as counsel them with regards to the modalities of the treatment.
Skills - Once the students have acquired an understanding for the biological, biomedical, bioengineering principles and systemic condition of the patient, they would be able to provide the right kind of treatment for craniofacial region.
