Programme Overview

M.S. (General Surgery) is a three-year postgraduate programme that focuses on teaching the students the methods of treating disease or injury by operative procedures. The students will also be taught the skill and the ability to care for the various surgical problems that might occur during operations. Different specializations will also be available for the students as per their interests.

Programme Outcomes

Diagnosis - Students will be able to diagnose and manage common surgical ailments in a situation.
Training - Through the programme, the students will be trained to provide adequate preoperative, post-operative and follow-up care of surgical patients.
Counselling - Students will also be trained to counsel and guide the patients and their guardians regarding the details of the surgery.
