Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed To Be University) College of Engineering, Pune (BVDUCOEP), was established in 1983 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam with the aim to produce some of the best engineers in the country. It is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed To Be University).
As a top-ranking engineering college in India, it is committed to encouraging innovation and creation.
BVDUCOEP has been awarded the accreditation rating of A+ grade in its third Cycle by ‘NAAC’ in 2017. Earlier it was accredited to grade ‘A’ in 2004 and 2011. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has also accredited the various Programmes of BVDUCOEP in 2005, 2012 and 2018.
BVDUCOEP has been ranked among the top 100 Engineering Institutes of India for five consecutive years by NIRF, MHRD, Govt. of India and ranked 99th at National Level by NIRF in 2020.
