Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune, was delighted to welcome renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali to our campus on 28th February 2026 during Bharatiyam 2K26, our techno-cultural fest.

As part of the engaging talk show “Dil Se with Akash Afley”, students and faculty had the wonderful opportunity to interact with one of the most celebrated storytellers of Indian cinema. During the session, Imtiaz Ali shared valuable insights about his creative journey, the art of storytelling, and the importance of passion and perseverance in pursuing one’s dreams.

The interaction turned into a truly inspiring experience for our students, encouraging them to think creatively, follow their aspirations, and believe in the power of ideas. His thoughtful reflections and candid conversation made the session memorable for everyone present.

At BVDUCOEP, we constantly strive to provide platforms where students can learn beyond the classroom and engage with distinguished personalities from diverse fields.

We sincerely thank Imtiaz Ali for gracing the occasion and making Bharatiyam 2K26 even more special for our students and faculty.
