These disciplines have been modified and adapted as per the special needs of infants, children, adolescents, and those with special health care needs. The students of the department are taught skills that will be applied to cover the needs of the children throughout their developing stages and for the treatment of diseases that are unique to the growing individuals.
Postgraduate students will be provided with the facility of having adequate space for exclusive cubical made for doing clinical work. This curriculum of an undergraduate and postgraduate programme provides the student with the necessary didactic background and clinical experiences to provide comprehensive primary oral health care and the services of a specialist.
The department provides oral care, research, practice in a variety of clinical and institutional settings, and public health.
The laboratories have advanced equipment comprising of 2 RVG units, a conscious sedation unit, intra-oral camera, pressure moulding machine, hydro solder, spot welding machine, rubber dam kit, pulp tester, stainless steel, polycarbonate, strip crown and zirconia crown kit, rotary endomotor, obtura and magnifying loupes, apex locators for precise comprehensive quality dental care.
