Felicitation of Kayaking and Canoeing Coach Mr. Ankush Pote
It is a matter of pride for us that Bhararti Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Pune’s Kayaking and Canoeing coach Mr. Ankush Bhimrao Pote has been awarded “Shiv Chhatrapati Rajya Puraskar” by the government of Maharashtra. Mr. Pote was given the award by Hon. Chief Minister of Maharahstra Mr. Devendra Fadnavis and in the presence of Hon. Governor Maharahstra Mr. C. P. Radhakrishnan and Hon. Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ajit Pawar on Friday, 18th April 2025. Under Mr. Pote’s coaching the university’s team secured 3rd place in all India Inter University Championship 2024 at Chandigarh and 3rd place in 35th National Championship at Uttarakhand in Kayaking and Canoeing.
On Thursday, 24th April 2025 Vice Principal Dr. Pratap Desai felicitated Mr. Pote. Head of Computer Application department Dr. Rajendra Pujari, Sports Director Mr. Yogesh Patil and the staff members were present on the occasion.
