Institute’s Sports Director Mr. Yogesh Patil has been conferred with the prestigious Vasantdada Krida Puraskar for the year 2024–25, recognizing his outstanding contribution to sports and youth development.
Mr. Patil has played a pivotal role in nurturing young players and strengthening the sport at both district and university levels. Players under his coaching have consistently shined at university, state, and national level competitions, bringing laurels to the institute and the university.
On this occasion, Director, Dr. Pallavi Jamsandekar extended her congratulations to Mr. Yogesh Patil, appreciating his commitment towards student development and his efforts to uplift the institute’s sporting achievements. While expressing his gratitude after receiving the award, Mr. Yogesh Patil mentioned that the honor was not only his personal achievement but also the outcome of the collective efforts of his students, colleagues, and institute.
The Vasantdada Krida Puraskar, instituted by the Zilla Parishad, Sangli is one of the most esteemed honors recognizing individuals who have excelled in sports and contributed significantly towards fostering a sporting culture in Sangli district.
