Ganeshotsav 2026 Celebrated with Devotion, Culture and Togetherness at IMRDA, Sangli

IMRDA, Sangli, celebrated Ganesh Utsav 2026 from 14th to 18th September 2026 with great devotion, enthusiasm and a strong spirit of togetherness. The five-day celebration brought students, faculty and staff together through a series of religious, cultural and engaging activities, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere on campus.

The festivities commenced on 14th September 2026 with Ganesh Aagman and Pranapratishtha, marking the auspicious beginning of the celebrations. The ceremony was conducted with traditional rituals and devotional fervour, setting the tone for the days ahead.

On 15th September, students and staff participated in Sangeet Khurchi and Funny Games, adding an element of fun and camaraderie to the celebrations. The interactive activities created a lively and cheerful atmosphere across the campus.

The celebrations continued on 16th September with a vibrant Gauri Dance programme. Participants showcased their enthusiasm and cultural spirit through traditional dance performances, adding colour, grace and energy to the festivities.

On 17th September , a Thali Decoration Competition provided participants with an opportunity to express their creativity and artistic skills. The beautifully decorated traditional thalis reflected the rich cultural traditions associated with Ganesh and Gauri celebrations.

The five-day celebration concluded on 18th September with Ganesh Visarjan. The idol was carried for immersion amidst devotional chants and a festive atmosphere, marking an emotional yet joyous farewell to Lord Ganesha.

The Ganeshotsav at IMRDA, Sangli, served as a meaningful occasion for the campus community to come together and celebrate devotion, culture, creativity and togetherness. The celebrations fostered a strong sense of unity and encouraged active cultural participation among students, faculty and staff, making the occasion a memorable part of campus life.
