The New Law College Library is a dynamic hub of knowledge designed to support the teaching, learning, and research needs of students, faculty, and scholars. It houses a rich and diverse collection of 46,000+ books valued at ₹1.7 crore, 3,300 bound volumes, 101 volumes of Corpus Juris Secundum, 136 volumes of United States Supreme Court Reports, and the Halsbury’s Laws of England. The library also provides access to 10 major legal databases, including AIR Online, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis Advance, Westlaw Asia, Live Law, and others, making it one of the most resource-rich law libraries in the region.
Advancing into the digital era, the library has fully automated its operations using KOHA, a cloud-based Integrated Library Management System. It also houses Lexcellence Digital, equipped with 50 computer systems and a dedicated server to support e-Learning, Teaching, and Research (e-LTR). Through the e-ShodhSindhu consortium, users gain access to 10,000+ e-journals, online databases, e-books, and research materials.
To ensure seamless and inclusive access, the library provides remote access via idisKover, a mobile application, and QR-code–enabled services. It offers Reference Services, Current Awareness Services, Digital Library and Internet facilities, Photocopy & Printing, WebOPAC, Question Bank access, Book Bank for competitive examinations, Career Guidance programmes, and User Sensitization programmes. The entire library is enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi, creating a modern and conducive learning environment. The library is also an institutional member of leading e-resource providers and consortia such as AIR Online, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis Advance, Westlaw Asia, LiveLaw, and DELNET.
