Campus Facilities

The New Law College, Pune provides a host of excellent campus facilities to meet the needs of students and give them an enriching experience. As students are our priority, we have built a unique learning environment for them where they can feel comfortable and relaxed.

Hostels

Our hostel accommodation is made available for students who want to stay on campus for convenience. There are separate hostels for male and female students. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished to provide comfort to the students and make them feel at home. The hostels are Wi-Fi enabled and their common areas are under CCTV surveillance to ensure students’ safety.

Canteen

Our college canteen serves tasty and nutritious food at affordable rates for students, faculty, and staff. It maintains proper hygiene and functions efficiently. We prioritize food safety and quality for the benefit of all concerned.

Sports

The New Law College has excellent sports facilities to help students excel at sports and stay healthy and fit. We have both indoor as well outdoor sports facilities. Students have the freedom to indulge in the sport of their choice. Our indoor sports facilities include a pool table, table tennis, carom, and chess. For outdoor sports activities, our college has separate grounds for cricket, football, and kabaddi, a basketball court and a volleyball court.

Cultural Activity

We encourage our students to participate in the events inside and outside the classroom. We acknowledge the importance of cultural activities for a positive global outlook of students. So, we want our students to participate actively in cultural activities. We organize annual fests and other events where we host street plays, fashion shows, music and dance performances, quizzes, etc. The various cultural activities bring out the inner talent of our students and give them a scope to forge strong bonds with their peers. Besides, participation in these activities boosts their confidence and develops their overall personality.

Common Rooms

We have established separate common rooms for our male and female students with a comfortable seating arrangement where they can chill out, relax, and rest after the hectic classes and have informal conversations with their peers.

Banking

We have our own “Bharati Sahakari Bank” that was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in 1971. It provides various banking facilities including ATM services for our students, faculty, and staff.

Student Development

Seminars and Workshops

We have organized several national seminars and workshops where more than 110 judges from High Court and Supreme Court have delivered a legal discourse.

Guidance and Counseling

Our students have received guidance and counseling from Senior Advocates like Ram Jethmalani, Soli Sorabjee, P.P. Rao, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, M.C. Mehta, Geeta Luthra, Pinky Anand, and many other experts. They have also got the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with the MPs like Rahul Gandhi, Supriya Sule, Shatrughan Sinha, Madhu Gaud Yakshi, Ranjit Sinh Mohite Patil, etc.

Placement

We offer excellent placement opportunities at national and international firms. We also offer internship opportunities at Supreme Court, High Court, Law Commissions, and NGOs. Our students from the past batches are all well-established today as judges of Supreme Court, High Court, District Court, JMFC, Sr. Advocate, Corporate Officer, Legal Advisor, Income Tax Officer, LPOs, Academicians, and Solicitors.
