Dear Students,
Since we live in the “world of information”, Information Technology has become a part of our daily lives.
We started our journey in the year of 2001. Over the last two decades, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Information Technology curriculum and research. Currently the Department runs two programmes viz. B.Tech (IT) and M.Tech (IT). It remains as one of the most preferred choice of all the students seeking admission in Department of Information Technology. We as a team, sincerely welcome the young talent who aspire to pursue studies, to educate, or to innovate in the area of Information Technology.
We have carefully designed IT Laboratories considering the current and futuristic needs of IT industries. The department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem-solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The Department offers large number of vocational and elective courses for providing wide spectrum of options to the students to pursue their interest. The course contents are periodically updated for introducing new scientific and technological developments. Undergraduate students are encouraged to undertake various research projects.
Department looks forward to contribute in solving the technological challenges of the society with active participation from all sections of the society.
