ANTI-RAGGING LECTURE
Dept of Periodontology, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University Dental college and Hospital, Pune organized a lecture on Anti-Ragging - Curbing the Menace of Ragging on 30th October, Monday at 10:30 am in lecture Hall D, delivered by Dr Arun Dodamani, Principal ACPM Dental college, Dhule, Maharashtra and member of Dental Council of India (Maharashtra). Sir spoke on anti-ragging guidelines, ill-effects of ragging and punishments of this offence as directed by honourable Supreme court of India. Representative of police Sub-inspector Mr. Dheeraj Gupta spoke about judicial aspects of ragging and measures to combat it.
It was attended by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kshirsagar, Vice-principal Dr. Venkatesh Kulkarni, Department In-charge Dr. Vishakha Patil as well as members of anti-ragging squad, anti ragging committee, Head of all Departments, wardens of boys and girls hostel, and senior faculty members. There was enthusiastic participation of First year BDS students.
