The infrastructure of the college is at par with the best. There is a well-stocked library along with hostels, laboratories, classrooms and proper arrangement is made for the students to practice various indoor as well as outdoor sports. Steps are also taken to carry out various extra co-curricular activities.

Building

The building of the Dental College is not only an architectural beauty but it is functionally well planned. It has a covered area of 2,07,671.44 sq. ft. One of the unique features of the Dental College and Hospital Pune is the spacious, state-of-the-art building that is not only well ventilated but also has hygienic and aesthetic surroundings.

The spacious building has a lot of space for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The laboratories (Ceramic, Phantom Head, Oral Implantology and Dental Clinics) also have ample space.

Hostels

A large number of students are from outstation and for them a hostel is a home away from home. Hence, in order to make the transition smooth for the students all possible steps are taken to make their stay comfortable. The University provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls and there is a warden for each of the hostel to manage day to day affairs.

Both the hostels have their own individual mess and the hostelers ae provided with hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is varied and it caters to a range of taste buds. All the rooms are well ventilated and there is adequate moving space and ample air and light.

Sports

The central sports ground is in an area of 14 acres and both indoor and outdoor sports activities can be carried out with ease. The emphasis is on the overall development of the students and hence they are encouraged to take part in the sports activities so that their competitive spirit and tolerance - both physical and intellectual can be enhanced. The responsibility of maintenance of the sports ground lies with the College of Physical Education.

The BVDU Dental College Sports Committee organizes sporting events as this encourages team building and competitive spirit among the students. It also helps in the physical and mental development of the students. It is due to such efforts that the students actively take part in intercollegiate tournaments and represent our university at Ashwamedh and All India Interuniversity tournaments. The committee organizes college sports week in December and January, wherein students and staff actively participate and enjoy the events. There is provision for indoor sports as well. Hence, students can play table tennis, carom, and chess in our gymkhana. The students have the advantage to use the university sports complex for outdoor games throughout the year.

The college won intercollegiate Badminton tournaments and also stood runners up for Basketball at national level invitational tournament “Dunkyard” and AFMC tournament. Dr. Madhura Kad, PG student, received best player of the tournament award at Dunkyard tournament.

Canteen

During free classes or free time, students can relax and tickle their taste buds at the canteen that is there within the campus. The canteen provides mouth-watering snacks at affordable prices. Students can be seen hanging around in the canteen not only to eat but also to have some fun-filled conversation.

Financial Aid to Students

Provision has been made to provide monetary assistance to the deserving and the economically and physically challenged students. The list of such students is approved by the management and their names are forwarded to the principal for the final approval.

Banking

In order to ensure that the students do not have to go outside the campus, Bharati Sahakari Bank has a branch within the campus. It is a Multistate Scheduled bank with good accessibility and there is also a 24 hours ATM facility.

Health Services

Under the Bharati Vidyapeeth Health Scheme, free medical check-up is provided to all the students and the staff every year. Also, there is provision to provide medical treatment to the students and the staff at subsidized rates in the hospital.
