Sports Activities

Inter-department as well as inter-college events are organized annually. The aim is to keep the students not only mentally fit but also physically fit. Students actively take part in the sports activities and there are dedicated faculty members who guide the students in different sports.

Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune undergraduate students participated in the Inter Collegiate Boys Basketball tournament organized by BVDU MCH on 27th and 28th August 2019.

On 27th, Dental college team won against College of Architecture by incredible score of 36-0 and reached semifinals against college of Engineering and beat them score of by 11-0.

The participants played with great enthusiasm but lost in finals by 16-6 against IMED college on 28th Aug 2019. The team received Runner Up Trophy.

Inter Collegiate Badminton Tournament

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune's undergraduate students participated in the Inter Collegiate Badminton tournament organized by BVDU College of Engineering on 12th and 13th August 2019.

5 boys and 5 girls from our college took part in the event held over 2 days and qualified through 2nd and 3rd rounds respectively.

They managed to fare decently in the tournament coming 3rd as the girls reached the Semifinals and the boys did their best and gave a tough fight but lost in the Quarter finals.

The participants played with great enthusiasm and managed to get decent results even though competition was very tough.

Inter Collegiate Chess Tournament

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune undergraduate students participated in the Inter Collegiate Chess Tournament organized by BVDU College of Ayurved on 6th and 7th August 2019

5 boys and 5 girls from our college took part in the event held over 2 days, playing 7 matches each. The participants had to play 4 matches on day 1 and 3 matches on day 2. We managed to fare decently in the tournament coming 4th overall among the 12 colleges who participated. Only the top 2 teams got awards, hence our students agonizingly missed out on an award.

The participants played with great enthusiasm and managed to get decent results even though competition was very tough.
