Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the oldest departments in the college.All the laboratories in the department are well equipped as per the curriculum. All the students of Electronics and Communication Engineering can access the Central Library throughout the year as it is one of the richest sources of knowledge from the academic point of view. Recently the curriculum is revised keeping in mind the needs of an industry. Also vocational courses and industry oriented courses are included in the curriculum to get practical exposure.

The B.Tech. program is designed in such a way that it inculcates high professionalism, ethical standards, and effective communication skills to work as an individual or part of a team in diverse professional environments related to social, economic, and emerging technologies. The curriculum is updated regularly to meet the industrial needs in consultation with industrial and academic experts. Advanced curriculum and intensive hands-on laboratory work through projects and project-based learning provides the students for success in diversified industries. The curriculum focuses on preparing industry-ready students in the advanced fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering by periodic conduction of training programs, workshops, seminars by industry/academic experts.
