Awards & Achievements

Since its establishment, Yashwantrao Mohite College of Arts, Science and Commerce have achieved many successes and accolades due to the outstanding performance of the faculty and the students. The awards and achievements are one of the factors that have made the college one of the top academic choices for students. Some of the major Awards & Achievements of the college are: 

• The college is accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade in 2004, Re-accredited with ‘A’ grade in 2011 and for Third cycle in 2017 re-accredited with ‘A+’ grade as a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune.
• The college is also recognized center for Ph.D. research in 13 subjects.
• 25 Ph.D., 06 M. Phil. and 02 faculty members perusing their Ph. D. research, 18 are recognized research guides.
• Nineteen Major and Eleven Minor Research Projects are completed in the college.
• Twelve of our staff members have been awarded with Best Teacher Awards byPune Municipal Corporation, So far
• The Former Principal of the college has received Best Teacher Award from Government of Maharashtra.
• In addition, total twenty-seven teaching and non-teaching staff members havereceived Seva Gaurav Puraskarfrom Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.
• The faculty members have published more than 1250 research papers in reputednational and international journals and 700 research papers presented inconferences.
• The college organized 12 international and 95 national knowledge events in till date.
• The college is honoured with ‘Best NSS UNIT Award’, ‘Best NSS Programme Officer Award’ two- times and 07 students with ‘Best NSS Volunteer Award’ by Government of Maharashtra.
• More than 100 sport persons have represented the college at International sports competitions. More than 500 students participated in varioussports events and have won 112 gold, 86 silver and 144 bronze medals.
• Sixteen of our students are felicitated with ‘Shiv ChhatrapatiSports Award’, the highest honour in the field of sports offered by the State Government and ourstudents have represented the college in several National and International sportsevents.
