Dear Friends, Colleagues and Students,

It is my pleasure to reach out to you through this website on behalf of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Nursing, Navi Mumbai. Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is the parent body of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), is one of the largest networks of educational institutions in India, with a focused objective of bringing about intellectual awakening of people and for preparing manpower capable of contributing effectively towards national development, particularly economic development.

The changing patient needs and expectations in the 21st Century continue to influence the emerging nursing roles in coming decades, which required the ‘standard’ quality nursing care through dynamic education, programmes, and research. The vision and mission of the College of Nursing is professionally binding to cater to the changing needs of the society and prepare professional nurses to provide comprehensive quality care in the hospital and the community. Considering this global pressure, it is a matter of pride that BVDU has started the College of Nursing, Navi Mumbai to meet the emerging needs of nursing.

We believe in intellectual awakening and social transformation in different sphere including education, economic, social and cultural fields. Its activities have been geared to bring about an all-sided programme and welfare of different section in population including women, tribal and rural people. Further goals and objectives to prepared the ‘Quality nurses reflects’ in the students-centric institutional curriculum design, innovative ICT-based teaching learning-strategies, infrastructure and learning facilities. We also believe that a mature approach to the teaching-learning process is associated with positive outcomes.

The College of Nursing is well-equipped with all modern infrastructure and laboratories, facilities, books, journal and e-journals. We have adequate number of teachers as per faculty- student ratio, non-teaching and other infrastructure facilities. We have six well-equipped laboratories with adequate numbers of models, manikins, e-learning equipment, furniture and fixtures to carry out administrative and academic functions.

With this, our motto is to provide quality education and training to maintain and develop highest standard of care for individual, hospitals and community.
